How can people keep up with like 10+ kpop groups at once I can barely keep up with one.

Ah well where do I begin? I got into kpop 2010, first favorite group was suju but I became a big bang Stan and GD was my bias for a year and a half. I discovered I had the korean channels on my TV and became obsessed with the music program music bank where I could see all my idols perform on my TV screen rather than just my computer screen. Instantly my mom became a kpop fan, commenting on how beautiful the girls were and how good looking the men were. I can’t really recall my mom’s first kpop bias but I’m pretty sure it was kikwang from beast, but that was a year later in 2011. My two older sisters couldn’t stand kpop, but I made it my mission to get them to like it. There were a few sparse idols they would like, like lee joon, a few ss501 members, a few suju members, but other than thinking they are hot they weren’t really into it. It wasn’t until 2012 where exo came out when things changed.. a few months into exos debut, I asked my sis if she wanted to watch exo ms going all out video, since she always sort of liked the game type shows. Mind you when she first saw exo she couldn’t stand them, especially kai and kris. But as she watched the show, I could tell she was warming up. That night was the start of something. She became an instant exo fan, the next morning I woke up and saw her watching exo videos on her laptop, and everything became exo for us, especially when a few months later my eldest sister got into exo too, my mom had already liked exo the first time I showed her their performance, kai was her favorite and still is her “beast” till this day.. even my dad warmed up, he loved a few of exos songs, and we would have family night together all just sitting down and watching exo videos on the tv for hours. Kpop, exo in particular, brought my family closer together. Even during new years eve we party at our house blasting kpop music. That’s why even though I’m taking a hiatus from exo, they will always mean so much to me because they brought my family so much closer! Now nct is a new kpop group my sisters and I are focusing on, my mom is a little hesitant to like them because she’s an exo fan but the cycle will go on and she will eventually warm up :)

Hello Anonnie ^o^/ First off, I want to thank you for asking this because it really got me to think! I’m mainly EXO (and now NCT) focused, in general, but I have decided to answer your question in the most “kpop-comprehensive” way possible by choosing my biases out of some of my favorite groups~ *sighs* Alright, here goes nothing…
1) Suho - my husband the “Guardian Angel” of EXO! Where can I even begin with this man, he truly is perfect<3 Should I start with his angelic & compassionate voice? Or his handsome yet delicate looks?? What about his heart of pure gold??? And how can I forget he’S THE FUNNIEST EXO MEMBER (men with nerdy humor are my weakness)!! Yes, Suho is absolutely my #1 kpop bias, can anyone blame me?? Now can we all just take a moment to admire this wonderful man?!
2) Ten of NCT U - Mr. Chittaphon may be a new kid on the block, but I’ve been admiring him since he was promoted as an SM Rookie. Just look at him, he’s GORGEOUS *swoons* I’m going to admit, he’s my ideal type in terms of men sorry Suho OTL. I’m also weak for his voice, and he has this adorable playful personality that makes me just adfkjadl!!!
Alright two down, and three more to go, I can do this OTL
3) Hyung Jun - former SS501 and current SS301 member (only kpop fans would understand). Since “Ur Man”, I have claimed him as “My Man” because wow how is he so sexy?? There’s just something about him that makes him stand out to me…
Okay, now brace yourself for this one, thing’s are about to get really hottt
4) T.O.P - yup, the one and only TOP of all tops, Big Bang’s Choi Seung Hyun. All the members are great but TOP is top of the line for me ^~^ He is sex on legs, and his voice *fans self* his voice is not a force to be reckoned with, it can make ovaries explode. All that sexiness and he still has a soft side too, which I really admire in a man idol.
Last but not least…
5) I was struggling to decide if I should pick Block B’s P.O. for this one because he’s funny and quirky (and the voice again…can’t forget his voice), but I decided to go with Zhoumi from Super Junior M because first, I’m usually biased toward Chinese kpop idols for some reason, and second, because he’s sooo charismatic *^* I LOVE his personality, and he’s got good looks too; just an all-around cutie. Will I decide to *snap* Rewind on this choice? Nah, I’m pretty satisfied with my decision ^-^
Again thanks for the ask Anon! It was challenging for me to choose a list of biases that weren’t all from EXO, but I had fun with it! Also note, I don’t really have any girl group biases, because admittedly, I’m super partial to sexy men and boy groups in general^^
